Merrick headed out to the junior prom this weekend. Grace was off from LaX and headed to the Mall of America with a friend. We were able to watch the full power of Y chromosome plan for a dance event. Merrick and his buddies were to meet a Lambeau or maybe Titletown for group picture with the whole class...they ultimately weren't in the right place and Amy and I were able to chat with some parent friends that were also shacking their heads at the boys planning prowess. Ultimately they missed the class picture even if we, the parents, were in the right place. The crew hit a nice restaurant and proceeded to order mac and cheese, albeit gourmet before heading off to dance the night away at the high school gym. There was a post prom, with a hypnotist, that went until about 3:30 am. Merrick was back home about 1:30 saying it had been enough fun for one night.
